Red Dye 40

DD's pediatrician has suggested I reduce the amount of "Red Dye 40" that she gets. I've been Googling for a while and can't seem to find a list of things that have Red Dye 40...everything is very general. I would love to find a list of food out there that has this dye so I know what not to even bother thinking about buying.

Anyone know where I can find something like that?

  • I believe you have to read each package as you are shopping!!

  • You may just have to read the labels of packaged things. Obviously fresh fruits, veggies and "natural" stuff doesn't have it in....
