  • First thing in the morning, first thing after naps and every 2 hours say, " Lets go potty!" in a very exciting way. Make it a very positive thing. Avoid going to the potty when he is upset. Keep track. Write- 10:30 WT (wet/tried) 12:30- WP (wet/potty). Just keep taking him and eventually he will go in the potty and even if its just a little bit, turn it into a huge deal and make him feel very good about it. Eventually he will want to go potty in the potty to get that reaction from you =]]

  • Put him on the potty constantly while saying go potty ...when he goes, carry on enthusiastically saying did u go potty !? ... Sometimes it helps to keep a small basket or bowl of treats on the back of the toilet, reserved for only when he uses the potty...I never dealt with the little kid pottys..Id hold them propped up on the big one...Also let them in the bathroom when u r in there, saying go potty...good luck !

  • I'll say ditch the pampers/pull ups and stick strictly to cloth underwear/bare bottom... (except naptime, bedtime and outings) Bring him to the potty first thing in the mornings and every 25-30 minutes after that. Also, make an potty available to him at all times as this will give him the feel of confidence. Be consistent and patient, it's no easy job messes are bound to happen. Also, make sure to praise him even if he doesn't potty... IE. "Good job sitting, next time let's try to pee pee or poopy in the potty". You can try a sticker chart, treats, toys anything to bribe him or make him want to continue going. Hope my little piece of info can assist you down the road of potty training. Good luck mom.
