Haircuts for girls

My daughter (4.5) has curly (not tight or ringlets) hair. It's past her shoulders and I am looking for a cute cut for summer.

I'm thinking of a bob, you know the kind that is shorter in the back? I can't find any pictures though. Help!

  • Personally, I would not do it.

  • With her hair being naturally curly, I am not sure that style is good for her. However, the easier to care for the better. Maybe you could ask her is she wants short or long hair. That way, if she chooses long hair she will have to put up with the brushing, etc.

  • My whole family (girls) has curly hair and that hair cut would not be good for her. As you cut curly hair it becomes curlier and you wont get the effect you are looking for. I would look up curly hair styles and see what else is out there.

  • I would just cut it a little shorter and go with the natural curl.
