  • I wouldn't use anything but Tide. I have tried others but the stains come out better with Tide.

  • I use Arm & Hammer it's much cheaper than the big brand names and does a great job on hubby's nasty construction work clothes.

  • I use Arm & Hammer too, my husband is muddy everyday and it really gets the nasty smell out as well as the mud...

  • Tide, Tide, Tide.....the regular kind, not the Febreze or the Bleach added or whatever.

    Just regular Tide.

  • I make my own, nafta soap flakes, washing soda, and borax. less than a penny per load, hypo allergenic, and cleans soooooooo well. We use cloth diapers and cloth pads and never have stains.
