Crafts to do with a 3.5 years old?

  • My kids loved Play-Doh at that age. They also loved safety scissors. It takes a while to get the hang of those.
    Paint with water books are good too.
    String Froot Loops onto a piece of string or a chenille stem (easier than a string)
    Use a q-tip to "draw" with glue, then sprinkle on glitter.
    Cut a square of clear contact paper and stick tissue paper scraps to it, then cover with another piece of clear contact paper to make a "stained glass window"
    take a walk, bring home leaves, flowers, twigs and make a shoe box collection

  • Salt dough.... absolutely positively the best, and you can do their hand prints with their name.
