Can I wash a real coach purse?

I bought two today at a yard sale. The outside looks great but inside not so great. I want to clean the inside but don't want to ruin the bag. Anyone ever washed one? Or has anyone ever spot cleaned it? Not sure if this will even work.

  • If you have any tears or anything in it.. listen to this..true story! My girlfriend from work had a coach purse from like 4 years ago, and she discovered a tear in the inside. She took it into the store, and they gave her a value for her purse when it was purchased, and I swear this girl walked out with a BRAND NEW ONE!!! Good luck with the cleaning... or try that...

  • They do have a lifetime guarantee is an awesome brand :)

  • They will do that for a tear, since that is a flaw in the materials... but I'm not sure they would do an exchange for dirt since that was the owner's doing. I would spot clean with the cleaners Coach sells. Not sure about the cleaning at the stores since I've never taken mine in...but good advice...try that too. I may have to do that
