Cat or Dog?

If you could only pick one or the other, which one and why?
I would pick a Cat, a fat lazy older cat....they're more independent and when you hold them and stroke their fur and they're purring away, it's so stress relieving! Dogs are just too needy for me.

  • Cat! Dogs smell bad, even if you bath them every day, and yeah, much too needy. Kitty snuggles up first thing in the morning, purring and soft and lovely, then goes off after breakfast and does his own thing. That's my kinda pet!

  • I'm a dog person. I like their companionship. Mine are part of the family. All the cats I've ever had growing up were antisocial and aloof.

  • This is hard, since I have both. I love my dog, but I think, honestly, life would be easier if we just had my cat. We'd be able to find an apartment easier, and wouldn't have to worry about my husband being at work after the baby's born and me having to take the dog for a walk.
