How can you get someone to get help?

for anger issues? They have admitted they have anger issues and that they know what they do and say isn't right but how do you go about suggesting that they need to get help?

  • Exactly in any situation a person is only going to get help when they are ready to, it doesn't matter if they agree with you or not , you can drive them to the anger management classes but its up to them to go and get help like I said that's not going to happen until the person is good and ready to

  • let them no that u are not comfortable in this situation. and not in these words (of course) but you have to figure out is this healthy for you/kids. IT WILL GET WORSE, and become PHYSICAL. (mentally draining, beating you down so you feel like you have no choice but to stay in it.) tell him he needs anger management. research in your area call, get prices etc. that you cant live like this . * then start making arrangement to leave, while he's at work- it thats easier) but just say you cant continue to live like this if he is not will to get help.

  • Take him to court for hitting you/ abusing you and the judge will send him to anger management. Outside of this and similar tactics you can't make anyone change. The best way to change anything is to change yourself. Quit looking to fix him. Fix your life by getting him out o f it instead.
