Beatification of John Paul then Bin Laden is shot

John Paul's 2nd miracle??

That's what someone I know claimed on their FB page.

Nuts isn't it!

  • Wow really? that whole thing just leaves me speechless. Shows how much whoever posted it does not know about JPII. The real miracle would have been if he came out and renounced all that he did.

  • Somehow I doubt the original FB poster meant this to be a genuine expression of religious belief. Or, if it is, then its someone posting opinion. This isn't consistent with anything Catholicism teaches. John Paul II's beatification wouldn't be associated this way by anyone serious. BTW, I'm not Roman Catholic, but I spent 6 years in Catholic schools. I'd just shake my head over the FB posting.

  • This death has been good to show us who the overly religious nuts are. - not that I have anything against religious people or beliefs, there are nuts in every group.

Better be careful, some (sisteract Rnurse, etc) may question your parenting for using such language....

  • I think it's a coincidence, but hey people can think what they want.  I think the FB was meant to be funny and not necessarily to be taken seriously.

  • I don't buy it but if doesn't bother me if they want to. I find it hard to believe a death could be considered a miracle. Heck even Jesus' death wasn't the miracle, the Resurrection was.
