Whats the best way find a roommate ?

Hi everybody , I'm pretty new here , my relationship with my bf is currently ending and i really need to find a place to live for me and my almost 4 year old daughter , so if anyone knows someone who is renting out a room here in columbia sc and wouldn't mind someone with a kid to move in maybe you can let me know , or if someone wants to move in with me and pay half the rent would be ok too i guess .

  • Becareful, I would think you would go to churches, put an ad in the paper or look in the paper.

Stay safe and sorry to hear about the break up. :(

  • Any chance you might have friends who can recommend someone? I've had the best success with friends of friends.

  • Get a cheap room and this county has rooms for women and apts if you just look for them. Go to the social service pages in phone book or look up some charities, churches, agencies, or safety net - church - counseling,
    good luck to ya.
