Steak question (a food WYR)

WYR.... eat steak only a few times a year and have it be whatever your fave is (kobe, ribeye, porterhouse, etc)

or be having it often, say twice a month and it's tough leathery uber cheap ish stuff?

  • We only eat rib eye. The good stuff. If it is not good steak we do not buy it.

  • I eat good steak all year. But I eat cheaper cuts of steak too. But I only buy really good quality meat from a local rancher. I refuse to buy my meat from a grocery store.
    I marinate the cheaper top round overnight.
    I love NY Strip steaks. They aren't as tender as some of the other more expensive cuts, but I think they have much more flavor.
    Plus, I never over cook steak.
