  • I make a salmon ceviche. Sometimes I put shrimp in it too.
    1. Chop up salmon fillet into tiny pieces until it's almost a pulp and put into large bowl.
    2. Chop up roma tomotoes, jalapenos, onions, cilantro and put with salmon in big bowl.
    3. Add a million (not a million but a lot) of freshly squeezed lime juice and mix around in bowl.
    4. Salt and pepper to taste.
    5. Let sit for an hour or more until the salmon is cooked by the fresh juice
    6. Serve on tostadas.

  • Oh Shrimp Ceviche is my FAV! I've had other ceviches with different types of firm white fish like halibut.

  • I just remembered, my mom makes peruvian ceviche (the one with white fish, lime juice, onions, hot peppers) but instead of fish, she uses mushrooms.. it tastes almost exactly the same.. YUM!
