  • My hubby goes to work, takes care of the basement, and sometimes the yard...but I do everything else because I am particular and need it done a certain way.

  • I usually do most of the housework, but I don't think that he has ever refused to do something in particular if asked. For me, it is just annoying that he cannot seem to see what needs to be done and do it...I have to ask for a specific thing to be done if it falls outside his typical duties. Garbage he does on his own. Yard work he does on his own. The rest is invisible to him without a specific request.

  • My husband has kitchen duty.
We made a deal that I would take care of all the living spaces and he'd take care of the kitchen. So far he hasn't kept up with his end of the deal, as I'm usually ending up doing it. One thing he has never done, and rarely did when we lived elsewhere is laundry. I do that and pretty much always have.
