Can I use a tampon for my after c-section (normal) bleeding? adult content

Its so much like a period, but I dont want to if it will hurt something.. I just hate using pads if I dont have to. Eeeew

  • I was told after both kids to not use tampons, only pads. And I hate pads as well, so I totally understand. I would call your doctor, but from what I've been told, I wouldn't use one unless directed otherwise.

  • ive had one vaginal and two c-sections and was told all 3 times, nothing in there for 6 weeks. either way you bleed and it's your body's way of expelling uterine contents. it will also increase your risk of infection. please play it safe and wear those damn bulky pads lol :)

  • I used pads for the first 2 weeks but when the bleeding became much lighter I used tampons, but make sure to change them often. I can't stand pads either.
