2 Bumps

In the market for a good blender......

And not one that will crap out in a year or so. I've gone through a few and I'm sick of replacing them. What do you have? Pros and cons?

  • I don't blend in big batches, and I think the Magic Bullet is GREAT! I love the shape of the cups - it doesn't taper near the blades, so all of the mixture gets down to the blades evenly. It works great on mixed drinks and ice crushing, but is also awesome for beating eggs for the lightest quiches. Everything goes right in the dishwasher and doesn't take up much room - either in the dishwasher or the cabinet.

Good golly, I sound like an infomercial. But I really do love it.

  • I have a KitchenAid. The shape of the blender jar is too round; you don't get good blending. The Oster I used to have was better.

  • I have an Osterizer 12 speed that I have had for quite a few years. I have made smoothies, ground nuts, and ground wheat and millet in it. It is amazing.
