WYR: Know the past or the Future?

You've been in an accident and your brain has been injured. To fix it they can either remove the part that saves memories, or they can tap into an area and you can see into the future, but you can't have both. Which would you choose and why? I'd chose the past, because I am a summation of all that has happened to me and without my past, I'd be completely different. The future is too far away, to obscure and too many variables to predict with certainty.

  • Past. For the same reasons. I don't ever want to forget how I got to be who I am.

  • I'd never wanna know the future. Too much pressure, too scary. My memories, however, are all I have and I wouldn't trade them for anything

  • Save my memories, we weren't meant to know the future for the most part and I think it's a burden on those who can.
