How much does football for your kids cost where you live?

We pay a 150.00 registration fee, 200 deposit on gear rental ( only includes helmet & uniform shirt) and a 200.00 deposit on "volunteer time" If you dont volunteer for 4 games they keep your deposit. I have 2 kids in football but its getting to the point that i cant afford it.

  • Ours isnt nearly as much. Our Optimist club sponsors ours so they off set the cost with donations they get from the community and businesses. Our boys play for around $75 a season, and that includes equipment.
Our girls cheer for the boys and we pay $50 for football and that includes their uniform. If we want to keep the uniform at the end of the season we pay another $35.

The boys can go to our locally owned sporting goods shop and purchase their own equipment to keep year to year at discounted prices. They also have an exchange program, or donations. So if someones son outgrows something they can sell it cheaply, or donate it to kids who might not have the money otherwise.

  • We have a one time registration fee of $25 (that includes all sports) and a $50 deposit on football gear, but it is refunded once the gear has been turned in.
