  • Usually the kids will pick up on what others call you. I ended up with a "miss" carole and a sue baby. I just recently after 25years started calling on Grandma. My mom's friend had to pick her grandma name to be approved by her DIL she chose momere which i think is french and I am sure not spelled anywhere near correctly.

  • My DD calls my step mom Mimi.
    My mom is Meemaw.

You can do Mom-mom, Ganny (not granny), Nan, Nanny, Mammy...Personally, I like Mimi. lol

  • Let your grandchild come up with it. My kids call my parents mama and papa. What's wrong with grandma? You know you're not old!
