Formula stain

How do you get rid of it off the couch?

  • The only thing that can get a formula stain out is bleach but only on a white fabric. Sorry, that stuff is really permanent unless you scrub it with hot soap & water while it's still wet.

  • everyone always says use oxi-clean.
    but I imagine baking soda or vinegar would work just as well. equal parts water and vinegar/baking soda. which ever you use.

  • Check to see if the cushions come off the couch. if so put the covers in the washer? If not you may have to rent an upholstery cleaner. You might be able to spot clean with oxyclean.

  • I agree with trying to remove and wash the covers. Resolve also has an upholstery cleaner. Or, you could try a steam cleaner with and upholstery attatchment.

  • depends on the fabric, suede is the hardest in my opinion.

  • if it were me, id try oxyclean first. it works to get formula out of clothes in the laundry, so i don't see why it wouldn't work on the couch?
