Can a 15 month old take vitamins?

  • I use the liquid vitamin poly vi sol until 2 years then switch to the gummy vitamins.

  • gummy vitamins = fortified fruit roll ups. :( sad.

    unless the dr recommends something (like your child has an eating disorder, blood work shows a deficiency in something, etc) vitamins are to comfort and reassure parents more than they're anything for the kids. It's the truth.

    Whatever vitamin(s) or minerals your think your 15 month old is lacking I am sure you can find in the grocery store and not the pharmacy.

    my only reason for asking this question is that almost every time we are around his cousins 4&8 he seems to be sick after 2-3 days after
    he's had 2 viral infections resulting in dehydration symptoms with watery diarrhea, vomiting and fevers or he has gotten colds and cannot breathe so using humidifiers and nasal spray(saline) and vapor baths
    i am at a loss really i have a list of gatherings and a list of sicknesses and they match up
