  • Note that there are different type of tubals. Some people have them tied. Mine were removed and the ends burned.

  • My mother did TWICE. I was born in 84 and I think when I was about 5 or 6 she found out she was, but it was in her tube. She got the tubal ligation in 85. So that really wasn't long at all after it was done. Then about 10 yrs ago she had to have a historectomy. She then found out after the surgery that she had gotten pregnant in the time between her pre-surgery bloodwork and her surgery. She was about a week pregnant and they continued with the historectomy because they didnt know until they were performing it

  • Yes, that is true. I think my mothers were just tied, not cut

  • Mine was done just like first poster. No issues as of yet knock on wood :) It has been 9 and a half years.. I am really not sure what percentage gets pregnant with the different types of tubal's available..

  • Even if there cut they can still grow back together and you can get pregnant. The only for sure way to not get pregnant would be hysterectomy.

  • They could grow back together, but it is extremely rare.
