  • We own an electric mower. I will *never* use gas again. It works so much better, is easy to maintain, costs less to use, is easier to use, and it is QUIET!

  • Probably depends on how much of a yard you have to mow. Yes, electric mowers are more quiet and lighter, but gas powered ones have more power to them.

  • Gas powered I hate electric ones, they have no power. It would take two days to do an acre.

  • We actually have an electric mower, and I love it. It is SO quite, and lightweight! If you have a large yard, it will be more difficult (but not impossible) but if you have a smaller yard like we do, it's perfect! Just make sure you don't run over your extension cord! Oops! LOL

  • I'd honestly rather use a push mower. I'd do the lawn mowing if we had one. I HATE the sound of mowers and weed whackers so much that I plan out of the house errands for lawn care day!
