Baby Poo Question...

My LO is 4months old, she has been on formula for 2 months and her poo has been a dark green color. She goes once a day. Pedi told us to start giving her a tblspoon of rice cereal a day. She has done great with that for the last 2 weeks. No bad reactions or anything. We took her to get her 4month vaccinations on Tuesday, she ran a fever all day and night. We gave her 3 doses of tylenol in that 24hour span. This morning she woke up and poo'd like she normally does. Then about an hour ago, she was screaming in pain and stiffening up. She passed gas a few times, screaming the whole time, then finally I smelled really foul poo. Changed her diapers and it was a small amount of yellow mucousy seedy poo. Almost like when Ibreastfed. Any idea what it could be from???

  • Probably just an upset stomach cause by the immunization. Call the doctor and ask him to be sure. It's probably nothing to worry about.
