What did you do with your children(s) crib after they were done with 'em?

my sons he chewed to death..... he ate so much of the varnish off that I actually took pictures to show the pediatrician. I offered it to a crisis pregnancy place and I was shocked they wanted it.

My daughters crib is in our garage. She turns 5 in a few weeks and we plan to have another baby as soon as nature makes it happen. It's in lovely shape and I cannot wait to see it put together again some day :)

  • Ours is drop-sided, so we can neither (legally) donate nor sell. I do like the headboard/convertible part of it, so I imagine we'll keep that around.

It's not ideal, but we used it for almost 6 years and 3 kids, so we did get some value out of it, even with the recalls.

  • It will be turned into a full bed headboard. The rest of the pieces can be converted to awesome looking gates.

  • I gave my first one away and ended up pregnant less than a year later. my youngest daughter's crib is at her dads house still put together.. if he thinks he is using it for her when he returns from this deployment he is out of his mind! I will suggest he give it to a friend who is expecting
