Can anything happen if a fly gets in my fridge?

I had my back door open when we were playing outside earlier today and a couple flies have found their way into my home. I'm now paranoid that a fly is going to get in my fridge that my son keeps opening and I'm not going to see it go in there. Of course my fridge is cold but I'm still worried about a fly making its home in there and on my food!!! Will the cold temps of a fridge kill a fly pretty quickly?? Sorry about this gross strange question, I just don't want any surprises.
