  • They told me the tape had to come off before I could leave the hospital so I ripped it off myself!

  • If they are steri strips and they used an adhesive under them leave them on until they are more then half pealing off on their own, or call and ask a nurse at her docs office in the morning.

  • they didnt take her staples out until her first doc appointment, which is later than most ppl get theirs off. so she can take the tape off whenever?

  • My doc told me to keep it for a week or so until it started to come off. The first c section i got butterfly stitches, i had to wait til they came off, and the second time i had time (not as affective cuz my incision tore open at the ends) and i waited til that fell off too. no rush.

  • Not sure what kind of tape you are talking about but many times after staples are removed they put what looks like tape over the area called strips.. Those will fall off on there own.. Have her call tomorrow to make sure before she removes them all.. The help keep the incision closed until full healed.. They can stay on for weeks..

  • I waited about two weeks. They were peeling off on their own.
