My son lost his first tooth today! How much money should go under his pillow? If not money, then what?

  • I put $3 under DD's bed for her first tooth and then again for her second. I went to the bank and got those gold $1 coins you can get and used them. DD thinks they are "Fairy Money." Heehee!

  • Holy crap!!! I guess $5 really is the new standard! My niece made a comment about how a girl in her class got $5 and we were kind of like "OMG...I guess the tooth fairy better step up her game at our house." LOL

  • My daughter has received $5 for every tooth except molars... She got $10 for those, except the one she got a cavity in... It was "damaged goods" and only got her $5.
