31 weeks and haven't felt braxton hicks yet?

Is it bad if I have yet to feel some braxton hicks?

It's my first pregnancy and at my first childbirth class tonight I should apparently be feeling them by now, but I'm not.

  • It's not bad at all. I didn't feel them with my first til way later on. This time around I'm having them all the time. Consider yourself lucky!!

  • I don't think it's bad that you're not feeling them, I think you're lucky lol. I don't think everyone feels them. I didn't feel them hardly at all with my first pregnancy. I don't know if I truly wasn't feeling them or if I had just never had any kind of contractions before and didn't know what to be feeling. As long as your baby is moving ok, you should be fine.

  • I never had any. The first contraction I felt was at 12:00 pm 2 days after my son's due date. I had my son at 7:00 pm that night.

  • I never had any with my first. When I actually went into labor I didn't know what the pains were and chalked it up to bad gas from the mexican food I'd eaten earlier!
