YES! Without a doubt! The GI system in an infant is not completely finished forming that young and feeding them anything but breastmilk (yes, even formula) can cause health issues latter on in their life! Feeding cereal does NOT help babies sleep and stretches their stomach which leads to overeating and obesity as a child and adult. Plus, there is NO nutritional value in cereal and can actually stop them from eating as they should - stunting their growth and denying their bodies and brains important nutrition for proper growth and maturation... The EARLIEST cereal should EVER be started (accept in cases of acid issues, which the cereal helps to absorb - lesser of two evils) is 4 months, but most decent doctors or nutrition specialists will tell you it's better to wait til 6.
