  • My daughter understands the word no....so if i'm holding her and she's trying to grab my glasses and move her hand away and say NO. Of course she sometimes laughs and thinks it's funny, but if she goes near something like the fireplace and I say NO firmly she does listen and leaves it....she's 16 months old, and has known NO since about 13 months

  • OK, maybe I should be more specific. My daughter has a real temper. When she doesn't get her way she throws things and hits me.

  • my dd is 2 she has a temper when she gts mad she will either hit herself or hit her lil sis 10 mnths now what is working for me is that i will sit her n time out since she is 2 she is n time out for 2mins(i start after she calm down & quite w/ the fussing & moving to gt dwn) then after she does her 2 mins ill explain to her what she has done and tell her abot her emotions and how she has made her sissy fell then i have her to give sissy a kiss and tell her sorry for what she has done to her sissy. when we talk i have her to look me n eyes so i kno she is listioning. this has workd for me and she has calmed down on the hitting her and her sissy alot. cause she wud do this abot 7-8 x a day now its more of 1-2 x a day & since ur dd is only 15 mnths i wud sugesst just to sit her down an explain what she has down wrong now she mite not know what emotions r but u keep doing it she will understand in kno time plus u cud try an
