At how many months does a baby start to crawl?

and at how many months do babies usually say their first word?



I have a lil boy im just curious

  • Mine never crawled... some don't. He just started walking at ten months. I honestly don't remember when he said his first word. But by the time he was 18 months he did have an extensive vocabulary.. DH and I actually counted up the words he knew and the number was about 300.

  • Mostly between 6-10 months but of course there are exceptions. Don't worry if your son crawls later on it doesn't mean he isn't "on schedule " he could skip it and just start walking.

  • my son was 6 months to the day but I hear that is early. he said his first word at 7 months then nothing again til 11 months but my 19 months was in sentences.

  • It differs, but my first born crawled at 6 months, her younger sister crawled at 9, almost 10 months. I don't know the exact month but I think first words were around 10 months or so. I'd have to check their baby books to see when exactly.

  • My son scooted and rolled at around 7 months. Started crawing around 10.5 months and two.weeks later he was walking. I don't know exactly when his first word was...I think he said dada like 5 months. But he is 16 months now and tries to say every word I want him to but hasn't started sentences yet. Just blabber and words

  • My daughter started crawling at 6 months , and my son started crawling at 7 months . My daughter said her first word around 8 months , Were still waiting on my son (:
