1 Bump

Ok Dr. CafeMom...I am having symptoms of something, maybe you can decide what I have before I see a doctor.

Started feeling yucky Monday.
Noticed I peed a lot more than usual.
Have a full/bloaty/pressury feeling in lower abdomen.
Today, I am having chills, like I do when I have fever.
I have been feeling very fatigued/tired.
Have been nauseous off and on.
Have thrown up a few times.

What could be wrong with me?

  • Your sick, but it doesn't sound like you need a doctor. Try some pepto.

  • Assuming you are not pregnant . . .

    1) Rule out UTI/Kidney infection
    2) Check thyroid and adrenal function
3)Ask you questions regarding possible gallbladder issues.

    ?? Not a doctor, though . . . good luck!

  • Ok, thanks. Yes, I was looking at kidney/bladder/uti issues.

never thought about thyroid or gall bladder.

  • If it just started Mon, though, I would think it was something more acute like UTI or gallstone issues.

The other two only if you notice that symptoms have been worsening for a matter of months.

I hope they figure it out. It is no fun being a sick mommy@!

  • I agree, no fun.

Yeah, I can't rule out pregnancy though. It's too early to test, but, I would think in that case, it's too early for symptoms as well.

I was assuming UTI...gallstones I never thought about.

    Thanks everyone that helped.

  • Oh, and, depending on your locality, there has been a BUNCH of stomach "flu" issues that began to surface last week. It is all over around here.

  • Ok, looked up gallbladder attacks and that sounds probable.

  • I wouldn't waste time checking with the Dr's on Cm, I'd be calling my doctor and scheduling an appt.
