  • I think it's WAY too early to test hun....its 10 days too soon. Try again in a week. Don't stress. And don't drink yet!

  • ummm I have been trying since December. It really does take a while. I'd say don't drink since you are trying and 3 weeks is too early to test. Good luck and just try to stay healthy for when it does happen ; )

  • If you were on birth control, sometimes it takes a while for your body to completely readjust. Give it some time, and definatley don't drink if you are trying to get pregnant. GL

  • No, you're thinking a test will test positive the next day after conception? No, it takes days if not weeks. You could be pregnant but not for long enough that it makes the test positive. The sperm fertilizes the egg, it starts to grow then after a few days it implants in the uterus wall, then after it really settles in there as the days go on, you start to get elevated levels of HGH in your body that can be detected by a pregnancy test when the levels in your body are high enough. Wait until your period is due or late, THEN do a pregnancy test. In the meantime, keep eating well and avoid alcohol and other poisons. You can assume you're not pregnant if you get your period. If that happens, you will likely stay "not pregnant" for at least a week, so you can drink then, have time to get it out of your system and get ready to start trying again. Ovulation is about 2 weeks before your next period is due, so have sex then.

So you guys think 3 weeks is too early? there was no faint line or anything is was deffintly negative.. it may sound weird how i kept track but since the 17 till now we've been trying every week more thne once. We are still young any chance do i have ? :(

  • First off- Keep track of your periods. Conception is usually 10-17 days after the first day of your last period. Then two weeks after conception would be when you should start or miss your next period and at that point hopefully be able to have a neg or pos pregnancy test. You need to educate yourself about your reproductive cycle and when you ovulate. Not to mention, stressing about getting pregnant is not going to help. Don't just assume that you will get pregnant having sex. You can only get pregnant a few days out of the month.
