  • I'd say he loves them equally but definitely in different ways.

  • At the time(both my DD's are grown now). My DH(not either of my kids bio-father) favored my youngest DD. Only because my oldest treated him like the plague.

  • I think he loves both his kids but he definitely prefers spending time with our oldest which is our daugher. She's a super daddy's girl and he started leaving for training stuff when our son was 5 weeks old, came and go a lot his first year then left this past January for a deployment when he was 13 months old. I hope he can find a way to bond with him.

  • unfortunately its very clear he prefers our son over our daughters. He always wanted a boy, but you can tell he loves them all the same. It might just be that our son is only 8 months old and doesnt back talk like our others LOL

  • Since we only have one we both think of her as our favorite ;)
Growing up though, both of my parents had favorites. I was my dad's and my brother was my mom's. So, yes, men can have favorite children.

  • He loves them all the same, but it's funny how he plays so rough with the boys, and is so gentle and tender with the girls - like they're going to break!
