While everyone is talking about a dead man..... Really?

Is this the conversation we should be having with government spending 11 billion a day and a debt ceiling deadline 11 days away? With gas at $4 a gal, housing in a double dip, unemployment up again and GDP half of what it was last month? Diversion?
What's important to you right now?

  • People are easily distracted from the stuff going on that is important. The focus does need to stay on the economy right now. Osama most likely hasn't been running anything for a while now. His death is vindication for the 9/11 families and some small amount of justice. It doesn't change the threat by terrorists at all. Osama's death doesn't fix the economy or fix any of the issues our country has at the moment. I am glad they got him but now it is time to get back to doing the things that need to be done and staying focused on the important stuff.

  • I think no matter how our economy was, or what else was going on, the death of bin Laden would be news for a while. I agree that there are issues that need immediate attention, but I wouldn't expect anything else, to be honest

  • Yes it is a diversion and some of the media will drag it out as long as they can. That way the voters who don't give much thought to whom they vote for will vote for O just because he was president when our troops put a bullet in Osamas head. It's bs.

Sad truth is that if the republicans and democrats would stop fighting each other and start working together to better America they could actually succeed.  Obama is a great president, but every move he tries to make to better our economy is road-blocked by the republican party.

  • That is funny^^ One Obama being a great president..two that the pub party has enough leeway to cripple him so..

  • And last week it was the birth certificate issue. Three weeks ago it was an e-mail of the president's face on a monkey.

As a nation, we suffer ADD... that's been the situation, oh, as far back as I can remember.
