Is this the conversation we should be having with government spending 11 billion a day and a debt ceiling deadline 11 days away? With gas at $4 a gal, housing in a double dip, unemployment up again and GDP half of what it was last month? Diversion?
What's important to you right now?

People are easily distracted from the stuff going on that is important. The focus does need to stay on the economy right now. Osama most likely hasn't been running anything for a while now. His death is vindication for the 9/11 families and some small amount of justice. It doesn't change the threat by terrorists at all. Osama's death doesn't fix the economy or fix any of the issues our country has at the moment. I am glad they got him but now it is time to get back to doing the things that need to be done and staying focused on the important stuff.

Sad truth is that if the republicans and democrats would stop fighting each other and start working together to better America they could actually succeed. Obama is a great president, but every move he tries to make to better our economy is road-blocked by the republican party.
