have you had a false negative HPT when you were in fact pregnant?

ETA: This isn't about me, but a close friend. Her sugars aren't stable but have come down quite a bit since starting insulin last fall. For the past 18 months her period has come every 18 months after stopping BC. She is currently 4 weeks late, and consistantly getting BFN.

  • Her period has come every 18 months? I don't know how diabetes effects positive tests, but has she consulted her physician about it?
