Pre-pregnancy type 2 diabetics

have you had a false negative HPT when you were in fact pregnant?

ETA: This isn't about me, but a close friend. Her sugars aren't stable but have come down quite a bit since starting insulin last fall. For the past 18 months her period has come every 18 months after stopping BC. She is currently 4 weeks late, and consistantly getting BFN.

  • Diabetes won't give you a false negative. But not having blood sugars under control AND the stress of working all that out - that can cause someone's cycle to become irregular.
