Chicken Noodle Soup

I need a recipe for chicken noodle soup where the noodles won't expand and overtake the soup. Thanks

  • pre-cooking the noodles and then giving them a ice bath (so they are very cold) before you add them to the soup helps reduce the expanding. You want to add them view minutes before serving and only keep them on the heat long enough to heat them up.

  • if you make normal soup like you would but use macaronie noodles i love it that way !!

  • Use kluski noodles. They don't expand and they have that perfect al dente texture to them

  • I use egg noodles, but not many, and I break them up a little.

    I also like using a few shells instead of egg noodles.
