  • Try and stay out of the emergency room. Son keeps having allergic reactions since Sunday. I just got back from picking him up at school. He was fine this morning

I am making tamales, enchiladas, carnitas, guacamole, salsa, and Margaritas! I will to skip the margarita's until after work but still!  We have always done something for Cinco de Mayo. Even in school when I was a kid. It's an excuse to have fun and remember the people south of the boarder that faught along with us.

  • I live in Austin, TX and its a big deal here. There are special fund-raising lunches at the state agency where I work and at the other agencies. There's a parade and tonight lots of people will be partying. I may have a margarita to celebrate!
