  • If they don't smell bad, I'd still use them. I frequently have meat in my freezer for over a year - we buy about a year's worth in one shot and sometimes it lasts longer. I have whole chickens in mine right now that have been there for just shy of a year and they are still good.

  • about 6 months...unless you have a deep freezer, then you can keep it int there for over a year.

You could probably still eat it after 6 months, but i try not to let it go longer than that.

  • I would throw it away just to be safe. I think the 6 month rule is a good one.

  • Unless it is freezer burned, it will be fine to use.

  • I have had raw chicken breasts in my freezer for a long time. The expiration date is june 2010. Is it safe to use it or should I just throw it away?

  • How does it look? Is it frost bitten? I would eat it if it looked OK.

  • I would throw it away, but that's just me.
