  • why the sad face? you have a jobs, be happy today and always grateful. If you're young, you'll both continue to make more over the years.

  • my dh brings home a little over 1600 bi-wkly. he gets 150 bonus pay for every sat he chooses to work..and he is a workaholic so he usually decides to work. I have a waitress job that only pays 2.13 an hour but i usually make atleast 50 bucks a day (sometimes more)..working 4 hours. its our grocery money and spending money...and pays for my sons activities. I would like to go to school but honesty we can't put any money aside right now. Maybe in about 2 more years when all of our credit cards are fully paid off i will be able to go.

  • Forgot to say,,,,our income pays the bills.

  • You ladies should all count your blessings. My hubby lost his job back in October. Now he is only bringing home $400/wk. $550 if there is mandatory overtime. We had to get FS and a budget plan for our electric bill. I am scrambling to find a job myself but not even freaking McDonald's called me back :(
Even with FS we just barely make enough to pay rent, electric, phone, and car payment. We don't even have any cable or internet (I use my Kindle's 3G...agift from my mom).
Right now, we are dirt poor. At least we can keep a roof over our heads though.
