These are my choices for mothers day... help me choose

1) go to the zoo and have a picnic( we haev a pass so it's free and we do it often
2) Go to a local park that has a play fountain, playground, shops and a field to play in- again packing a picnic- maybe get some Rits's Italian ice later
3)Get a cheap dinner with a certificate and then use our $50 free game cards to play games

Any other cheap ideas??

Which would you choose??

  • If it is not too hot, the park and Italian ice sounds really great! Second would be the dinner and games. (I am a bit crowded out, so I'd have to stay away from the zoo).

    Happy mother's day!!

  • I like the option #2 - its enough to keep everyone busy and having fun for hours.

  • If you usually go to the zoo, why not do option #3--you don't always have a restaurant / games gift certificate so that might make the day more special. All of your choices sound nice, though. Have a great holiday!

  • The park sounds like the most fun as long as you aren't the one doing all of the watching and the work!
