Who's going to go buy a bunch of Bratz dolls?

I was curious, because I had this discussion in Walmart tonight with a mom in the toy dept. Would they be worth alot of money once they are taken off the shelves?

  • god, i hope not. those dolls are awful. they send a horribly skeewed message to our little girls. i'm glad they're gone! barbie's a hard enough standard to live up to.

p.s. totally non-post related... like your screen name! =)

  • I am not going to start buying them. Someone else can have them. I won't get in the way. Here, let me get the door for you.

  • I had no idea the law suite was going on but I love the way it turned out! I hate those dolls! They are disturbing! People give baby a hard time for her unrealistic poportions and impossible imagine to live up to but these dolls put barbie to shame with their giant heads and tiny bodies and creepy ass eyes! Good riddance I say!

  • If those dolls ever become a collector's item, finding that collector would be a needle in a haystack. If not, the dolls will be one of those items that we will be laughing at when we proceed into the future.

For the kids I'm buying gifts for, I buy age related art supplies, from eight years to teenagers. Art supplies are always a winner.

  • Yes help children become more artistic. Don't help them grow to have low self esteem.
Bratz dolls, magazines, media, tv, models, singers, actresses etc are all influencing that one certain look and the kids absorb that. Their minds are like sponges. They are learning about the world and so many other things and getting warped by the things portrayed...
