  • a roast or ham can be done in the morning or the night before/reheated. an array of vegetable sides and a salad, some form of bread/rolls..maybe a dessert if i was especially energetic the day before.
a lot of it depends on what time you're planning on eating. our 'sunday dinner' is right after morning services, so it more of a lunch.

  • My kids' favorite Sunday meal is broiled pork chops, mashed potatoes, homemade sourdough rolls, grilled corn on the cob, and fruit salad. If you wanted to go bigger, you could do a few casseroles as well, such as corn casserole, or broccoli rice casserole, or squash casserole, etc. My favorite meal when growing up for Sunday dinner was fried chicken, homemade rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, green salad, fruit salad, fried okra, & coleslaw. [And chocolate meringue pie for dessert] Now, being a low carber I usually make something on the grill and have fruit salad, veggies, and green salad with it. (My kids are not low carb though of course so I still make them their favorite dinners!) :)
