Protein drinks or something great after workout???

So I feel like im finally on track with my workout and my eating. But I think i really want to do like a shake or some sort of drink so Im not eating as much. Any suggestions.

  • If you have a GNC around you can pick up protein mix.
    If not special K has protein shakes.

  • Coconut milk is great for that, and is full of electrolytes. I like having a banana after a good run.

  • Shakeology, Results and Recovery... Dh uses R&R ( 220 cals- too many for me to justify in a drink honestly...) I eat greek yogurt instead...I found some with fruit that I like that are around 140-160 cals. I also eat protein bars- Detours are 170 cals approx and Zones are 200-240...I'm doing P90X and I'm a runner so I eat a lot of protein....

  • A protein shake (with at least 20% protein) with fresh banana added is great for post workouts. Or a protein bar that is low on sugar. Atkins or South Beach has some good ones.
