  • Everything gets a little easier with time. Just as painful but not so sharp. I'm so sorry.........

  • Was this very recent? When we had potential adoption situations not turn into a new child for us, it helped to pray for that child and its mom. Maybe God brought them into your life for a short time for that very reason. Don't give up. It took us 4 1/2 years from the time we started looking into it until we had our first child in our arms.

  • It does get easier, or at least it did for me. When we had a failed situation, I was sad (more than sad for a while, honestly), but on the other hand, I was truly happy that the young lady was planning to make positive changes for herself and for the baby she carried within her. Even though your heart is sad, what more beautiful thing is there when a mother knows that even if it's hard, she can parent her child. That is beautiful!
