Weight watchers

Does anyone know if Medicaid reimburses or pays for weight watchers? My friend's doctor recommended it but she can't afford the weekly payments of 20.00.

  • that really sucks. she has medicaid and her doctor won't prescribe anything except for weight watchers. and they are dead broke after paying all bills. they don't take any money from the state only medical coverage.

  • maybe the dr. could contact medicaid. sometimes they can push things through if it is a medical necessity.
