  • Lots of babies take longer than 7 months to sleep through the night. But start putting her to bed when she shows signs of being tired whether it is time for a feeding or not. Have a consistent routine of diaper change, lights off, cuddling, singing, noise machine........whatever works for you........and put her down when she gets drowsy. If she cries for a few minutes it is OK. (and I don't mean screaming at the top of her lungs). Do the routine everytime and she will pick up on the cues that it is time for sleep. You need to switch the association of sleep with nursing. Best wishes!!
