So I know losing your mucus plug means you still could be waiting a while for labor, but what about...

once you have your bloody show? I lost what seemed to be most of my mucus plug last night after light contractions for a couple hours. The contractions weren't painful, so I ended up going to sleep. Woke up this morning to pee and there it was, my bloody show! I'm still have contractions, they're just not too bad yet! I do have a pretty good tolerance for pain though. My family has a history of long labors and my bag's been packed for a while, so I plan on just going about my daily activities for today haha. Anyone think she could come today or tomorrow? My due date's Sunday. :]

  • I'm not a huge fan of hospital's so I've already told my doctor that I plan on laboring at home for as long as I can haha. If I go in now, I could be there forever with my family's history! I'm with my hubby and soon my momma so I'll be good if the contractions start to hurt more! I'm definitely excited though. :] I think going on a walk later will help speed things up.

  • I start googling and most of what I saw was anywhere between hours and a few days you can expect labor after bloody show (some help that is!). I've been having regular contractions though, so hopefully that means it's sooner rather than later!

  • I lost my plug/bloody show a week or so before labor started. AND, I only had a 7 hour labor.

  • With my son,, I had my bloody show about 5 days before I had him. With dd, it wasn't until I was being induced, she's my stubborn girl :)
