Should I cook a kosher pot roast differently than a non kosher one?

My inlaws gave us an extra roast they bought last week. I love to cook roast, but I have never cooked one that is kosher meat. Should I cook it differently?

  • Unless you keep kosher, no, it doens't have to be done any differently.

  • I am pretty sure kosher just means it was cut form a certain portion of the animal and it was killed according to Jewish law using approved utensils/ machinery. they had to have an inspection to get a title such as Kosher.
